The project focused on redesigning the platform to better reflect its cultural identity while improving the overall user experience and content engagement.
Problem
The original platform lacked a strong visual identity that reflects its cultural and educational purpose. The experience was not engaging enough to encourage users to explore content or continue browsing. Additionally, the content-heavy structure, especially within the library section, made it easy for users to lose interest or feel overwhelmed.
Goal
The goal of this redesign was to create a visually engaging and culturally relevant experience that reflects the essence of Islamic culture. Another objective was to improve content exploration by designing a more dynamic and structured layout that encourages users to continue browsing and interacting with the platform.
Design Approach
1. Culturally Inspired Visual Identity
The design was built around Arabic and Islamic visual elements, including patterns, ornaments, and stylistic references that reflect the spirit of the content. This helps create a more authentic and immersive experience aligned with the platform’s purpose.
2. Engaging Content Flow
The layout and section sequencing were carefully designed to guide users through the content in a smooth and engaging way. Visual hierarchy, imagery, and spacing were used to maintain attention and encourage continuous scrolling and exploration.
