Overview
Urstays is a multi-service travel platform that combines hotel bookings, car rentals, and personalized travel assistance. The platform supports two main experiences: self-service booking, where users can search, filter, and book independently, and a concierge service, where users submit a request and the support team manages the entire trip on their behalf. In addition, the platform includes a dashboard for hotel and car rental providers to manage listings and track updates.
Problem
Users planning a trip often need to search across multiple platforms to compare hotels, cars, and travel options, which can be time-consuming and fragmented. The booking experience lacks a unified flow that brings all travel services together in one place. In addition, users who prefer a fully assisted experience have no clear structured way to request complete trip planning, including flights, accommodation, and transportation. Service providers also need a centralized system to manage their listings and bookings efficiently.
Goal
The goal of this project was to design a unified travel experience that supports both independent users and those who prefer assisted travel planning. Another objective was to simplify the booking process for hotels and car rentals, while also introducing a structured concierge service for end-to-end trip management. Additionally, the platform needed a dashboard experience for service providers to manage their offerings.
Key Flows
1. Hotel Booking Flow
Users can search for hotels, apply advanced filters, view locations on a map, and explore detailed room types and pricing. The flow is designed to help users quickly narrow down options and make informed decisions without confusion.
2. Car Rental Flow
The car rental experience allows users to filter available options based on their needs, explore detailed pricing and add-ons, and compare different choices before booking. The flow focuses on clarity and easy decision-making.
3. Concierge Service Flow
Users can submit a travel request by providing destination, duration, preferences, and budget. The support team then contacts the user to finalize details and handle all bookings, including flights, hotels, and transportation, offering a fully managed travel experience.
4. Provider Dashboard
A dedicated dashboard allows hotel owners and car rental companies to register, manage their listings, and track updates and bookings, ensuring smooth operations within the platform.
Expected Outcome
The platform provides a more unified travel experience by combining booking and concierge services in one system, reducing the need for users to switch between multiple platforms.
